As someone who lived in that neighbourhood for many years and grew up with the Bethany almost right next door, it is the perfect scale and for that area and very much welcomed.

That building is gone, and a temporary road has been installed for quick access to the main development. I believe West Block 200 and 400 are very much close to construction start shortly.

Depending on the final material selection, this could end up being a really lovely project.

Just a fun FYI - the former Red Cross building in the Beltline is getting a complete renewal very soon. Unsure if this will include significant envelope work on the outside, but it is a full base building renewal and interior fit-out.
