More likely I suspect is that they determined this site to be a good candidate for rentals, which a market exists for, and James St a better candidate for condos, which there is no market for. If that's the case, I wonder if Vantage might swap Connolly to rentals too as the real estate downturn...

I was surprised to see this moving ahead but they've submitted for all planning approvals per the Spec today.

I didn't get a photo but I was shocked going past the site yesterday to see that it truly is under construction now! They have a pile driver and some other heavy equipment working on site, wrapped by well designed promotional render hoarding.
