GO Transit Fleet Equipment and other

CN hasn't run through the USRC in almost a decade now. Most of the examples you listed aren't exactly recent, Waterfront switcher hasn't been a thing in at least 5-6 years maybe more, I've never ran it . Of course Halton sub would see double stacks its their main line. Auto racks from Oakville...

In my experience it depends but roadswitchers tend to be 5-20 cars maximum and its only stuff like the Ford job in Oakville and the Lambton transfer in west Toronto that can reach bigger sizes.

Those were run by CN crews back in the day. Not sure if they recrewed in north bay or Huntsville though. For the current train however the crewing logistics might be a nightmare as CN doesn't want to crew them(especially the passenger train) and ONR doesn't really have the manpower hence why...

Lol I doubt that. ONR has been trying to recruit CN guys to run the trains because they don't actually have the man power to run the trains but CN doesn't want to run them.

Yeah, that's just yard operations. They don't really have the road manpower to support it out of north bay yet. So I heard they were gonna just run it out of Engleheart to Toronto (both trains). CN doesn't want to run it anymore for some reason. I heard 9-12 jobs will be lost in the Toronto Terminal

Yeah ONR will create a crew base in North Bay and take over the freight trains. Running from North bay to Macyard. Or they will run Engleheart to Macyard. They were even offering large amounts of money to CN engineers to jump ship to ONR. They haven't started yet as far as I know.

I was told ONR will start running all the trains in September. CN A451/450, L595 + Northlander

A new siding north of Zephyr is being built north on the cedarbrae crossing, between smith blvd. It's currently under construction. Should be about 13-14k feet

This is more realistic than running a cpkc/cn joint bypass... not to mention the grade required at the humber river would be insane...

    VIA Rail

I saw the V4 document and it mostly has do not exceed 60/70 mph until crossings occupied on specific crossings I don't see any new pso speeds on the Dundas, Strathroy and Kingston (most of it except 1 or 2 closer to Montreal), Montreal and St hyacinthe had like 1 pso added as well...

How many loaded bike coaches or e-bikes need to be on a GO Train before it becomes a "Key Train" or "Special Dangerous" train 😂

They've been using this routing for the last month or so

There's no switches on either end and it's not in the employee timetable table anymore

Yes, the only in service sidings on the Newmarket are Falkenburg, Martins and Trout Creek. Everything else was ripped out or is out of Service. The switcher out of Huntsville works 3 customers 3x per week. Usually the freight out of north bay leaves around mid afternoon.

The high priority oversiding BIT trains usually leave Brampton intermodal around 2-4 am. So that shouldn't conflict. Based on the timings on the business case the northbound would run ahead of the freight run to north bay and the sb would leave north bay 2-3 hr after the nb comes in The current...
