    LIB Orleans [500 Av De La Famille-Cote] | 38+41m | 12+14f | Neuf | Proposed

A very decent proposal for this plot of underused land, though the precast concrete panel cladding I'm sure will look awful (Riverain vibes anyone?). I'm pretty surprised the other parcels in this area have been so slow to develop, except for the one mid-rise retirement home next door which is...

It looks like they are installing the cladding on both towers at a rate of roughly 1.5 floors per week. At that rate, we should see them fully clad in the next 3 to 3.5 months by mid to late June.

I can actually see the very tips of these towers coming in on the 417 west at St. Laurent mall. Didn't know they would be that visible!

This looks great! I don't know why, but I've lately become a big fan of metal panel cladding over brick. Even if the building ends up as a typical CharcWhite, I'll usually give a pass if it uses aluminum panel cladding. Something about them just look so sleek and futuristic, whereas brick just...

    211 Centrum Blvd. | 28+53m | 9+17s | Groupe Maurice | Hobin

Months after the demolition of the old bank building there is still no movement on this development. The site remains totally flat and vacant with no signs of construction mobilization happening any time soon.

    St. Josephs | 3030 St. Joseph Blvd (Orleans) | 66m | 18s | Theberge Homes + Mastercraft Starwood | RLA

This is one of the slowest builds I've seen in a while. Walked by the site recently and although it was hard to get close to the excavation pit to see down inside, it looked like they've only completed maybe one level of underground parking so far. Don't expect this to rise above grade any time...

Wow, this is a pretty nice proposal for some seriously underutilized land in the area. I love the cantilever look, height variety, and varying colours on the towers, especially the green one. Hopefully this isn't value engineered too much as it goes through the approval process. If this does go...

    SSP Landing Thread!

Is SkyscraperPage giving anyone else a bunch of issues again lately? I keep getting webpage loading errors or a notice saying that the servers are too busy to load the homepage. It's annoying and giving me all the more reason to promote the community transition to SkyriseCities. In my...

That red cladding is just so sexy to see on a tower. Have there been any rumors on potential commercial tenants yet?

I don't hate it, but it is giving "faux European ski resort" energy.

Rumor is that the existing old building will be demolished imminently within the coming days. Once the building is demolished, the plan is to move straight into excavation and construction of the new building.

    Odenak | 665 Albert St. | 105+123.7m | 31+36s | Dream+Multifaith | Perkins&Will+KPMB+Two Row | U/C

While I am still excited to see the cladding's colour gradient become more prominent as it rises, I think I'm one of the few that would have actually preferred to just keep the cladding as the solid deep red colour all the way up the tower. Nevertheless, these are still my favourite builds going...

Looking through the photos taken over the last two months, the west tower seems to be rising at an average rate of 1.5 floors/week while the east tower is averaging about 1 floor/week. If this rate holds steady, we could expect the west tower would top out in about 11-12 weeks (mid-February)...
