Toronto Ontario Line 3 | Metrolinx

Naming stations after people provides zero wayfinding ability. Also, not to mention the historical reparations that need to happen when said person is found to be a terrible person.

Would have been nice if the folks at Metrolinx included a bus pull-in bay for more seamless transfers. But maybe that's a bit more challenging with the surrounding bike lanes?

It's pretty cool seeing how similar the renders are to the actual build on this one.

Wow - looks like there might be some life still left in St Clair-Old Weston Station. An open house is happening in a couple of weeks.

These buildings are starting to grow on me. This build is definitely not chic, however, it brings a much needed warmth to architecture in this city, and the heavy black framing is kinda playful.

This photo is the intersection between fine art and optical illusion.

Was really hoping the 2nd floor here would be used as a restaurant and patio.

    Toronto Toronto | The Whitfield | 130m | 39s | Menkes | Giannone Petricone

In the grand scheme of things there's nothing too interesting about the exterior of this building. However, considering Toronto's obsession with the banal, this is a real winner for the city.

Toronto Ontario Line 3 | Metrolinx

Just for a laugh - Let's hope that Metrolinx hasn't contracted Alibaba as their TBM supplier for the Ontario Line...

I really like the look and scale of this project. Really hoping that value engineering doesn't slice the quality of this build in half.

It's kind of insane how such a massive development still has overhead wires.

Bury power lines? In this city? Tell me another joke.

This corner is so sad and in good need of an overhaul. Hopefully something moves soon.

    Those balcony railings are sublime.

Totally agreed - that streetcar is desperately needed. But could you imagine if they started building that extension today? With all the current road closures, downtown would be in crisis mode!
