Nasty little fire that took less than 3 minutes to become quite the fireball. Was put out in under 5 minutes by TFS, some glass panel damage. This could have been ugly, there were propane cylinders stored very close to the fire.

80 hours on since the incident, and Front St continues to be closed. Crews were on site yesterday to remove the remaining bits of glass on the panel and cover it. Ministry of Labour vehicles have been seen at various times during the last couple fo days.

Incident on this site at 10.40am. A panel of glass has fallen on Front St W injuring one.

The two cranes on site had an entanglement on Thursday afternoon. Was resolved by Friday morning.

The bridge opened on Christmas Eve, buses are now running on Bathurst St as opposed to diverting around the Spadina bridge. Just waiting on the streetcars to return.
