    During the Employees Town Hall meeting for the 900 Bay renovations project, it was mentionned that the 880 Bay site would be used as a staging area for the 900 Bay project (scheduled from 2018 to 2024) and no decision reached on long-term plans for the 880 Bay site.

    The Running Room has just opened at the base of Murano south tower (corner Bay and Grenville). It is a bit different from the usual retail (dry cleaner, convenience store, nail/hair salon) in the other condo towers in the area.

    Thanks for the clarification. In some ways, I would prefer it was the generic 2 storey building to the south instead of the older 3 storey building where Komrads / Bar One used to be (for those who remember). There might be nice bricks under all that white paint !

    Looking south from Grosvernor down the alley between Burano and WCH. Anyone noticed that the new building replicates the look of 800 Bay St.(south end of alley) build in 1950s and reno in 1980s ... just a coincidence probably / hopefully ! Not a fan of the view from the Bay street side...

    I think $250K 20 yrs @ 3% is around $1,400 per month including interest so just from a cash flow perspective, it changes from $250 or $300 monthly cash gain to a short of $150 or $200 monthly.
