Yeah I think we should be fighting for a stop at Cherry. There will be a big gap between Corktown and the next stop. The west side has denser station placement.

I really like this, I've often thought of similar lines, but terminating at Ontario Place is new to me. Is it feasable to get there underground? For a western DRL like this, I've had it continuing north and turning onto Kipling, to hit Rexdale and terminate at Finch.

I don't know about that, I see a few different ideas in these threads. I mean like this, it would poor planning to build a separate guideway 100m apart, and they couldn't justify it being built, especially when it's not serving any stops. This part could easily be interlined. I don't see both...

There's no way the King line can be built North of Bloor. Too close in proximity to justify. If anything the East side could use the OL tunnel to branch.

But the City of Toronto is kind of arbitrary borders. A Toronto province should include some of the surrounding GTA.

Honestly, the lakeshore West and Kitchener rail corridors are pretty much perfect alignment for the Western DRL. The East/south DRL should just terminate at Sunnyside, and upgrade those two rail corridors to handle local service.

Because SCC should be the interchange hub, and also there's already an elevated ROW for the SRT and this would replace those stations. It also provides a route to UTSC.
