Great analysis. One thing to consider on the Bowmanville Extension is that the curve is not just a curve, but a pretty significant grade change. Curve + grade is not super ideal for trains to navigate.

Miway won’t be involved in any of the LRT operations, it’s entirely with with P3 consortium for the Hurontario LRT. I hope that this enables better decision-making unburdened by public sector malaise.

Last I heard Trinity Railway Express and Amtrak were interested in leasing some of the equipment, but GO is such logical choice for a sale.
