The release says roads and driving but I've learned the province doesn't have a transit subject for announcements and they always put roads and driving for transit stuff. Good flags on potential topics!
I genuinely believe that Metrolinx watched the Ottawa mess and will not open the line until it is absolutely ready. They have taken enough Ls with the delays already, and I am sure they want the opening to be a win.
I heard through the grapevine that the ONTC Siemens Chargers/Ventures will begin fabrication at Siemens Sacramento next month (May 2024). Curious what nose cone we get, since renderings of two versions have been floating around.
I’d remove Gormley and add Bloomington because that station has more protected parking (it’s a massive parking garage), and a more protected platform for people waiting.

The RFP closes June 4th, so early work could even begin later this year I’d guess.
I honestly think that the biggest variable is if Siemens can deliver the train sets on time. No reason to assume they won’t however.
