People often post their tickets for sale at a large profit even if they intend on going. Either the tickets sell for a profit or you go to the game.

Sounds like work has started on the site. How are there no renderings anywhere? What is it going to be?

If the provincial government can do it, so can we! Seriously though, are there no repercussions to this?! Other than a soured reputation, does nothing happen?

Still not. I walked through there before the Oilers game last Wednesday and it was packed with people just hanging out at the tables and looking out to the plaza from the windows. I couldn't help but think what a completely missed opportunity it is to still not have anything in there.

So... with all the news surrounding Dwayne's Home, this one is surely dead, right? Time Square is currently the only thing on the "upcoming projects" section of their website.

    Fort Edmonton Park

I've gone a couple of times since they reopened and it really is great. They never did put a roller coaster or bumper cars in though. The train and streetcars are still the highlights IMO. Also, the Indigenous Peoples' attraction is very well done. Well worth a visit if you haven't gone yet.

I didn't expect much from them in that game, or tonight frankly. They're just trying not to get injured.

    Downtown

I've always thought that small stretch of 103 Ave. has the potential to be a nice little connection between city hall/Churchill/arts district and ID. If not for the parkade entrances it would work well as a pedestrian-only street. Who owns the surface lot across from Amore? Has there ever been...

Nothing exciting—It's going to be an electric car charging station. Essentially a gas station for electric cars with some kind of store/waiting lounge.

My daughter had a dance dress rehearsal there a little over a month ago. Looks good. Nothing spectacular, but it's a good little venue.

I live right near there and often wonder what could have been if they chose to make that shopping centre a more walkable and urban experience. Orchards Center (Yes, spelled the American way which drives me crazy) is a perfect example of a boring, car-oriented box-style shopping centre that is...

I spent an obscene amount of time at Kings Knight from about 2003 until they closed and became a temporary latin club while they rebranded to JET.

Same! I worked at the one in West Ed for a few short months in 2003. I took full advantage of that discount many times—including for a couple of months after I quit when it still somehow worked. lol. I spent at least some time at pretty much every place on your list. A lot of Sundays at Funky...

Red’s before it was Ed’s had so many amazing concerts. It was such a shitty layout for a live music venue but so many great artists rolled through there before they were big. I saw Muse there in October 2004 and it wasn’t even half full—incredible.
