I personally think this podium looks fantastic. What a great addition to the core and I look forward to seeing all the commercial storefronts filled up.

I wish that some of the proposals that have stalled due to the mortgage crisis would switch to purpose built rentals, we need far more rentals!

WOW this project is a beast, the rendering driving along Rymal just looks game changing. Makes me think of how Dundas from Waterdown to Mississuaga went from farm road to super dense highway of homes, towers and businesses. Love all the included retail I also say let's get this built!

It's great to hear about a mini grocery store, that's sorely needed. Those balcony's are HUGE it looks bigger than the actual living room! These must be the biggest balcony's in the city now?

Well.... I def love the inside then! That lest render is actually pretty cool too, was that a planned expansion at some point that never happened?

Not to derail this thread but I want to respond.... I will admit I am starting to get pretty frustrated with the amount of damage to public and private property I am seeing and the just terrible and unsanitary state of things mainly in the downtown core but I still lay blame at our elected...

Okay that does look more interesting and better than the current structure.

Will this one have retail at all, I can't remember? The podium looks like a perfect match for a nice cafe.

As much as I love Hamilton I now work from home and my partner works in Oakville so we're seriously thinking of moving to Oakville and we were driving around both the older and newer parts of Oakville and their roads are like a dream there like I was in complete shock how good they are. Makes...

Maybe it's because we just drove by it yesterday after getting groceries at Tan Thanh Supermarket and saw all the stairs covered in feces and garbage and drug paraphernalia that left a very bad taste fresh in my memory but if I step back and pretend that issue never existed I still think this...

Yes it's hideous! I'll take this proposal any day of the week over this ugly building littered with homeless.

Love to see this, lets put the height limit to bed once and for all! Total surprise though haha

I'm still hoping for a full service major chain grocery store downtown but this is still great news! Happy to see this.
