I recall similar skepticism und the 2016 number as it was essentially flat.....can't specifically say people called it an "undercount" but people did doubt the number.

Maybe i have this wrong...but the Mississauga loop is far more extensive than a simple "dead end" turn around....isn't a +/- minus 2 mile loop around the businesses residences of the MCC with multiple (3?) stops and running in both directions in mixed traffic? Would they really have cut this...
There is one kinda obvious advantage....escalators need maintenance and sometimes break.....having them split allows that to be done in stages and allows for better passenger experience while the work is being done.
These lands...the pink stripy bits are not owned by the proponent and people are wondering why they asked, and the city agreed, to include them.
