    Edmonton Real Estate Market

My dream scenario in in Wikhwentowin is that the current pool and arena can be "consolidated" into a large natural pool like in Borden.

    Capital Line LRT

I doubt that the airport's planning documents are taking a connection to Leduc into account.

    Winter City

    It has been mothballed.

    Capital Line LRT

It's great to see that the right of way is planned for.

    Capital Line LRT

To me, this is a massive selling point of simply extending the Capital Line all of the way to YEG. I believe you that developers would be very interested in developing land further along the LRT route, and we have already seen with infill along the Valley Line what this means for density and...

    Edmonton Commercial Properties

How suitable are these buildings for a residential or hotel conversion?
  7. T

    Capital Line LRT

I fully agree. I also behave this way in larger cities like Toronto, where I take the subway whenever possible even if a bus route is technically more direct.

    Capital Line LRT

After witnessing how the UPX basically functions as another subway line in Toronto, I would be all for this.

    Capital Line LRT

This is why I've been assuming that the BRT to Castle Downs will lead to a Capital Line extension toward YEG instead of an extension to St. Albert. This is the line that the UCP wants and I offer Calgary's Green Line as an example of how those politics play out. Of course, if the NDP takes...

    Old Royal Alberta Museum

I'm hopeful that this is huge news.

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

I wonder if WestJet's Alberta-based culture has led to some blindspots toward the scale of the Quebec market...

    Edmonton International Airport (EIA/YEG)

    Both of you are correct.

    Downtown

Some rough math tells me that Downtown would need about 26,000 people to reach Wihkwentowin's residential density (where the streets feel lived in at all hours). 2035 feels like a reasonable goal for that.

    North Yard Development | 21m | 6s | Leston Holdings | KP Architecture Ltd.

I'm very happy about this. 800 people in the exact perfect location for the very cool commercial area developing behind MacEwan. And 800 people directly along the Valley Line.

    Downtown

Are you suggesting that adding context is helpful so that you can understand it? ;)
