New Catholic High School in Heritage Valley. And a new one in Castledowns going up now.

The first package was 7 schools not 11. there is another package coming out in the fall. for 5 more schools. There are a lot of one offs for Charter schools. (Why are we building private Schools). Anyway it will be 2 years before these are ready. Foundations should start this spring or summer.

But based on what I can figure the next budget will be quite heavy with project announcements. Red Deer Hospital phase 2, at least 5 more schools, Stollery money to start building ( or at least putting together the team that will build it).

How long has the UCP been in power? So any inefficiency or problem with government operations they haven't found or dealt with yet is on them now.

On that note, how about a public inquiry into AHS contracts to private companies now? This might be somewhere to find a lot of wasted or misused public funds..

Tailor made for Indigenous folks???

Do you mean the same Indigenous folks dealing with 200 years of trauma imposed by foreign and federal governments and their programs designed to "take the Indian out of the Indian" while they stole Indian land?

Do you mean the same Indigenous folks that includes residential school survivors and their descendants, entire nations deprived not only of their land but of adequate health care and education and legal status and clean water?

Do you mean the same Indigenous folks who stand to benefit the most if the centers are successful in helping them deal with the demons we have cursed them with?

Of course the centers will be open for all Albertans and not just Indigenous folks That sharing of the experience as equals (something that doesn't happen often enough to enough of us) will be good for everyone, Indigenous or not.

There certainly is "an elephant in the room" here but I don't think it's what you're thinking it is.

She said the treatment centres are to be located in Edmonton and Calgary and have 150 beds each. Their funding is to be included in the budget on Thursday.
