It would require a monumentally bad candidate, or such a divided vote that he pulled a 'Pasternak' (winning with 19% of the vote in a 12-way split)
Or a little bit of both, ie an opposition consisting of a bunch of non-viable mice. Which is how Michael Thompson managed to be re-elected last time despite the looming spectre of sex scandal. (Or how Ana Bailao managed to be re-elected in the most nominally "progressive" ward in the city in '18; essentially, the NDP machine "threw" that one--but made up for it w/Alejandra Bravo in Bailao's absence in '22)

Brad Brad’s council seat isn’t a given. He’s heavily disliked in The Beaches. He first ran as a bike riding progressive and turned out to be a Toronto Sun / CP24 fear monger whose other attributes are cockiness and an obnoxious attitude.
It's a weird thing to stop calling him a bike rider because his politics changed. Have you seen his thighs, this guy cycles more than any of the bike lane warriors out there.

Well, it's not about bike riding so much as bike riding *progressivism*. In a way, Bradford might be seen as more of a "brocyclist", if that's any kind of concept.

I am not worried about his thighs. His brain is of more concern. What a dick he has turned into!
