I still don’t know what to make of that giant concrete triangle on the southeast corner. Is that for skateboarders to do some sick tricks off of? Maybe an amphitheater for one? A living wall where all the plants were cut down because they died? A ramp for Evil Kanevel?

With oil prices low for many of months and the deficit now way over 5 billion, I am fairly skeptical that all of what has been announced will actually go ahead, but I suppose we will see.

Rumour mill puts Norquest's budget shortfall this year at between $4-5mil from what I heard, after their international numbers tanked. They haven't published their FLE counts in the past two years, coincidentally enough. How this project is getting greenlit right now is beyond me. Advanced Ed and Infrastructure must be asleep at the wheel.
