Yes. Even worse because so much effort has been made over decades to plan to successfully connect all our existing 4 hospitals to our LRT system. So this new one will be the only one not connected.Such backwards thinking.
Let’s think about this: the election is next May……Saddlebags Smitty will have to break ground on this before then before the new NDP government wins the next election by a landslide…..at which point they may wish to restart the SW Hospital by then…….which we all agree is the ultimate wish list for YEG’ers
Yes, a lot things could change after the election.Let’s think about this: the election is next May……Saddlebags Smitty will have to break ground on this before then before the new NDP government wins the next election by a landslide…..at which point they may wish to restart the SW Hospital by then…….which we all agree is the ultimate wish list for YEG’ers
Having a new Stollery built in conjunction with a new south Edmonton hospital could be a good solution. It would be near the new transit line and also in an area with good road connections and more room for parking. The only way a new hospital can be finally be constructed would be the NDP back in power. But even then, that's no guarantee if Nenshi becomes the next Premier.
