Im not sure this is even on the forum at all but its close to ace coffee off whyte ave. Im assuming student housing , the orange is jarring in the day but looks cool at night.

Out at ENOC for a meeting today, River Cree Development is incredible, The Hotel project is quite big, Then the Healthcare Surgical clinic, The Rehab , Golf Experience and the Wellness centre. The place is booming. And it looks like a lot more work is planned.
Good to hear, I want to see some healthy First Nations development competition between them and Tsuut'ina. Two First Nations adjacent to Alberta's two largest cities, so ramping up development just makes sense.

This area could be one of the densest in our city beyond Whikwentowin/garneau once finished.

We badly should have got the capital line extension to be 2 more stops to heritage valley.

It likely will, which is pretty bad when considering that its deep in suburbia with (currently) pretty subpar transit access and walkability. Suburbs should be dense, but the inner city should be denser imo lol

Ahh, my neck for the woods.

Don't think that'll be a Canadian Tire...but I have seen no signs as to what it will be.

We're also getting a Wal-Mart at some point in this area too.

So...yay?

I choose to blame the the cancelled hospital

^I am concerned. This initial tease does not look good.

Also, that stucco wall on the Icon 2 tower is an abomination. Who ever ok'd that should be tarred and feathered and laughed at until the end of time.

No word of a lie, I was at the design decision meeting (no, I did not make that call).

It was to 'improve privacy' for those units by reorienting those windows so that they did not look into the hotel.
