I think all of 97, 29, 18 are dealing with injuries, so climbing out of this hole will be a tall order. I think they can do it, but it will be tough without at least a couple of these guys going at near full speed. Never say never, but it's looking pretty bleak.

Is anyone else as frustrated with the league as I am that the Oil/Ducks are playing every other night, and somehow Habs/Lightning get TWO two-day breaks in their series? The Oilers sure could have used that extra day in between games 2-3, and 4-5.

Leon and Connor area hurt...and not minor injuries. You can tell.

Yeah, for sure, McDavid and Drai aren't themselves. With the earlier injury to Drai, I wasn’t expecting him to be the force he usually is.
As for McDavid I’m convinced that earlier in injury scare is more serious than they’re letting on. On both of those plays late in the game last night where he cut in at high speed blowing past the defenseman and cutting in front of the net, were play that he would’ve scored on last year.
Not only injuries, but the star players are tired. They’ve played a lot of hockey over the last two years.

McDavid - game-time decision if he will play
Dickinson - game-time decision
Ingram - starting in net
TAS - going to the game

The two banks across from each other highlight how much of a missed opportunity this plaza is becoming. My dream for this would be a Shake Shack-type place in the TD (similar to the one in Vegas by T-Mobile), and in place of the CIBC, a live music venue similar to Blues with a big patio that opens to the inside so the music streams out into the plaza.

Oilers were fantastic in the first, and then, in typical Knoblauch fashion, took their foot off the gas after the fourth goal. They defended much better last night, but I'd like to see them continue to attack more. The number of injuries to key guys might be playing a bit of a role in that.

We had almost zero o-zone time in the third, and really Anaheim had the better of play in the second. The most entertaining part of the game, other than the first, were the fans.

For anyone still wondering why Bouchard wasn't on Team Canada and why he won't win the James Norris Memorial Trophy, his play in last night's game was described as having "some good on the attack but two brutal sequences in the third, utterly brutal" which in turn led the team's play being described as "... the younger, healthier and faster Anaheim Ducks ripped them apart with two rush goals in the third off Evan Bouchard turnovers for a 7-4 win.
How many points did Bouchard get last night?

I went to bed relieved last night. I feel the oil can still do it, and come back and win two more.
As Ian O put it it’s another best of one and we have to get out a full effort from everybody and win that game and then it’s anybody’s game game seven.
