    I would never buy a condo in Etobicoke. There are houses nearby that can be bought for reasonable prices. The whole point of condo living to me is being close to all the action.

    This is a huge surprise to me. A building doesn't even have to be 100% done to be registered. I don't know what these guys are doing. Maybe the city is backlogged? There are definitely a lot of pissed off owners.

    Yes the prices are getting ridiculous, but with the amount of foreign investors purchasing units downtown I wouldn't be surprised if Toronto becomes the next Vancouver. This ride to the top isn't slowing down anytime soon.

    Yea defn. But what else? Has 1011 Landsdowne been torn down yet? From what I have read that building is a huge slum. From an investors perspective having nearby rental buildings that rent out 2 bedroom units for as low as $1000 would hurt. What's the appeal of this area besides the prices?
