The render is looking southwest, so that's actually Ice Condos with Maple Leaf Square in front.

At night, they have the light feature for topmost northern section on. It's pretty underwhelming, but I guess it's something.

Sorry to bump an old thread - but I was biking around here and it looks like they're installing a large public art installation between the buildings. Looks like they're supposed to be large abstract metal flowers.

I actually like the single spandrel panel evenly place along the width the building on the north side. Not really liking the spandrel on the west side.

It would be interesting if one of the spans of the Gardiner was preserved and erected it vertically as a monument to the 50 year old infrastructure. It would be both impressive and tactile, providing a new prespective for a Toronto icon.

This is awful - they made no attempts to fit the character of the neighbourhood.

Does anyone know what cycling infrastructure projects were completed in 2016? This was a list of the potential 2016 bike lanes posted back in 2015, http://torontoist.com/2015/09/mapping-torontos-potential-new-2016-bike-lanes/ - Of these, I only know that the Bloor bike lanes were installed.

It would be interesting if they continued that diagrid pattern over the mechanical level
