Asmegin, when you see your unit, can you ask them, if the owners are allowed to get the keys one day BEFORE so we can paint the unit. This is one concern I have. You and I are one week apart in the occupancy. My occupancy is March 25, and I didn't get a call yet.

I believe it's 15 moves per week, only because I remembered the DECOR lady mentioning that to me. However, I am surprised that a lot of people have the same closing dates, as my closing date is March 25, and I am on the third floor.

Don't all lawyers cost about the same. Vandyk is supposed to send the paper-works to the lawyer around mid-February to early March. So right now, we have no idea in how much all the fees are, etc. etc.

I really was expecting a letter with more information. This letter only wants our contact information and our solicitor's contact information. They plan to send the details around one month before the closing date.

I'd also like to know is this tarion warranty a one-time payment? or do we pay every year. I read that the builder pays for this. Why are they asking us for the money as per contract?

what do you think are the necessary fees needed for everything. I feel that it would cost us more than $5000, that is, not including land transfer costs, and not including occupancy fees. It's time for a lawyer to tell us all the costs.

I have to pay the Land Transfer as I used to live with my parents and I used to be a co-signer.

They are asking for nine post-dated cheques to cover the occupancy fees. And they could ask for more. It is written on the contract. This info is new to me as I haven't read the contract until now. I am also reading $2500 administration fees, $150 for another fee, $75 another fee, and don't...

There will be a delay. Letter will be sent in about a week or so. Date will be known in the letter. That's all I know. I hope the delay is tiny. It's getting harder waiting.
