    I realized that 29 Dufferin, 35 Jane, and 41 Keele all run out of Mt. Dennis division. So... Mt. Dennis has the best drivers I guess... They're usually in a better mood than the ones from Wilson division.

    VIA has already taken pages out of regional rail networks in recent years. They removed checked baggage service from corridor trains allowing for lower staffing, track access charges, etc. They added push/pull consists to reduce the need to wye trains at terminals, reducing turnaround times...

    I'm not sure this was the point. For me, I'm trying to say that VIA should have a look at commuter operators in North America and adopt aspects of their operating models to increase efficiency and reduce overhead costs (which will hopefully result in lower ticket prices).
