    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Does anyone know if there is an extra fare required to ride this bus?

There's also an extra track with platform access at Guildwood.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

I think you're talking about agency-specific concessions like the Fair Pass and the PS2 fare for the TTC. The older cards don't have space for more than one of these, but I'm pretty sure the new black cards do. This will be fully fixed when presto gets around to moving to an account based system.

    Fixed, thanks!

It works for me logging into skyrise cities using skyrisecities.com/forum/login. It doesn't work when I click when I click the login button on the upper right. After putting in my credentials, the page just loads and loads and resets.

I commuted 3 times a week from London to Toronto from September 2018 to May 2019 and I was only late once because of a frozen track switch. The train back was late at 20 minutes on average and I mined it for travel credits.

The new CEO isn't allowing employees to watch YouTube while on the job and outsource their work to consultants anymore.

The new login system doesn't work properly in chrome, I had to go to urbantoronto.ca/forum/login/login in order to get into my account.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

I agree with the mixed mode ops. There's a track leading to the BD line from St. George and that signal was probably protecting the interlocking. The yellow switched to a flashing green as a line 1 train approached the station.

The same thing is happening at St George next week.

I have an unlimited semester pass so whenever I knew my train would be delayed I cancelled my original reservation and booked a separate segment for every stop the train made. I got 65 points per segment for a 1 hour+ delay and 130 for a 4 hour+ delay.

Saw this at St. George, does anyone know what a steady yellow light on ATC signaled track means?

The new Preference cards look really nice.

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

Here's the explination from Reddit: And if you notice in the wintertime, all SRT vehicles run on manual-mode (the two red lights on top of the carriages flash, and a blue marker light on the side is on, which shows a fault in the on-board computer). At least during the winter, the drivers are...

    TTC: Other Items (catch all)

I thought that the trains drove themselves and the drivers were only responsible for opening and closing the doors. Edit: Read on Reddit that they're on manual mode because the TTC doesn't want to buy new parts for a dying line.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Do you remember the crash gates we had? They had to be staffed though.
  18. L

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Their gates aren't wheelchair accessible. We could have had something similar if the TTC decided to retrofit the old turnstiles rather than get new fare gates.

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Not really, the TTC took credit cards when they had grey Thales readers installed on turnstiles a couple of years back. Can't find a photo though. Found the photo, turns out they were parkeon readers. They are made by the same company that makes the red fare vending machines on the new streetcars.

    VIA Rail

Forgot to say this, if you really need a seat you can go to the ticket counter and ask them to break your trip into separate segments since they hold seats for passengers getting on at intermediate stations. The downside is that this only really works if you have an Unlimited Student Pass...
