    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

His team have found out blaming bike lanes and underfunded police for everyone of the cities struggles is not a debate winning strategy

    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

My understanding from speaking to people working in his campaign is that he will not drop out, and is hoping to galvanize "progressives" behind him at the debate.

    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

If you look at how he is replying to the promotional video, it seems like they were hoping for the backlash to amplify him and the campaign.

    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

I was saying unfortunately in the context that it's not clear cut who he'd endorse, not necessarily his place on the political spectrum. He's spent years curating relationships, and helping steer/mentor quite a few politicians. Endorsing 1 over the other 2 could massively affect there...

    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

Tory seems to be trying to stay out of the campaign, but outside forces are trying to force his hand with polls, lobbying and a gold ole fashioned NDP scare. Unfortunately he has ties to Bradford, Hunter and Bilao, who're all polling around the same numbers. At least one of these candidates...

    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

The fact they are pushing media bait policies ($2 TTC fare) is a worrying sign for any supporter of hers. Her campaign was expected to be the standard bearer for toryism, but since the whole quagmire of Ontario place/science centre, it's really took her out of stride. Look to a big endorsement...

    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

Did Brad explain why funding hadn't been secured or why these sites didn't have shovels in the ground since he's been on council?

    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

I like that we want to have the "adult conversation", but where was this over Torys reign of indifference. Transit needs more stable funding, with a more dynamic leadership team, for all of Toronto. If we're looking to improve our system, it's not through service cuts, with fare hikes that...

    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

I'm sure the people behind the bike poll would help you with that. Their polls only have a margin of error of 49%

    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

Got this flyer yesterday from Olivia's campaign. Thoughts?

    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

Mitzie would back Bilao normally (liberal members), but with the way Bilao undercut her at the liberal convention recently, I'm not so sure. Even in this crowded field, he'd do well. If Bilao and Bradford weren't there, he'd walk it.

    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

Mitzie Hunter and Gil Penalosa both seem dead in the water.

    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

With this many candidates, if the NDP vote holds, Olivia has a path to victory. The issue is what is she actually standing for right now? Her answer to the media about the housing issue wasn't very good in my opinion (saying the feds/province need to step up).

    GTHA Transit Fare Integration

Yeah the devil will be in the detail, especially with the funding to municipal agencies to be made whole.

    GTHA Transit Fare Integration

    Also happening this year!

    GTHA Transit Fare Integration

    Looks like it's finally happening!

    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

Judging by the fact most of Toronto doesn't know who he is, any publicity is good publicity for him.

    2023 Toronto Mayoral by-election

I think Saunders is hoping Holyday doesn't run, as the he'll be able to pickup alot of conservative voters in Etobicoke. I'm getting the feeling the more he's questioned in the race, the more he'll be found as a candidate lacking.

    Traffic Enforcement/Policing

I would like to see personally a version of NYC idling reporting for traffic offences in the city. for reference If we're unwilling to hire more specific officers, incentivize others to pick up the mantle by offering 25% of any reported ticket that is validated. Issues that could be...

    Traffic Enforcement/Policing

Really like the idea of a municipal code, but I do have a question. Would the province not be the one who decides if we can do this, especially as it concerns motor vehicles?
