Good news! The land is staked out........there are boundry markers everywhere....and I was informed that there was some minor excavation for unitlities....I will have to look to confim this.

I agree to an extent and it is diffecult to know what developers are doing behind the scene, but building a 14 storey building in 1.5 years is totally do able. This project has been delayed by six months already and was suppossed to have been completed Sept 2011. If it delayed more good for me...

I do have some news, I did see a bunch of business types with a foreman looking at the area yesterday, and they had a big meeting on the Standard property....so I am pretty sure that they are devising a start plan....I guessing but it could be May that they will break ground (Wild guess).

I think that you maybe refering to the site across the street becuase the site where Phase 1 & 2 is not active yet.

I do not think the builder was getting greedy, the cost of materials have trippled in the last 10 years, the cost of labour has increased as well, and most devlopers have to pay an additional tax for area improvements that could range from 1 mil - 5 mil depending on the area. Where the builders...
