    Chicken Coops?!

We did the same, the eggs are fabulous, even the packaged "free range/organic" eggs are nothing like it. Chicken coups do not require a lot of maintenance or space, as long as you take your time to clean them regularly. The only thing is the occasional noise, but it's nothing compared to my...

$2.99 breakfast at the Grenadier Cafe in High Park

I never travel to that area, I did have buckwheat at a Russian restaurant a few years ago, it was dry and badly prepared, I think they used margarine instead of butter and about a pound of salt... Have you tried Rawlicious yet?

$2.99 breakfast at the Grenadier Cafe in High Park

perhaps that high park deli (Russian) that serves hot meals has buckwheat kasha etc breakfasts? I make my buckwheat kasha with kolbasa at home, there are no decent East Euro sit-down places anywhere and no one makes buckwheat just right to my taste, I don't expect anyone to sit over raw...

$2.99 breakfast at the Grenadier Cafe in High Park

Urban, do you remember the vegetarian restaurant that closed years ago on Dundast St W (by Keele), what was it called? I agree, there should be many more veggie options.

$2.99 breakfast at the Grenadier Cafe in High Park

Isn't this is what a typical cafe breakfast looks like anyway? I don't expect buckwheat kasha with home-made butter and sliced sauteed kolbasa... what did you expect for $2.99 in TO? Maybe you like Ikea breakfast better :D

$2.99 breakfast at the Grenadier Cafe in High Park

nope, but I'm sure you can bring your own :D It's funny, a friend and fellow Russian immigrant decided to buy a can of spam as an experiment to see if it's actually palatable, when he opened it, I almost died from the horrible smell.... brrrr I can't believe it's not in the dog food isle

$2.99 breakfast at the Grenadier Cafe in High Park

The breakfast is excellent and their coffee is not bad either, I highly recommend the breakfast (choose between ham, sausage or bacon, two eggs (done any way you like), potatoes and bread (rye, whole wheat, white). 9:00 am- 11:30 am, Monday-Friday (excluding holidays) 200 Parkside Drive...

Nice photos Urban! , your "art installation" comment is funny :p Sorry I disappeared, my 1 year-old had to have surgery, it's been a pretty crazy couple of months. The Dundas Pizza place' pizza is pretty bad but do try their gigantic garlic bread that costs only $1, make sure you're there...
