I am obsessed with this. I would not do anything differently. This can be a big win for everyone, for the province, for market housing, for affordable housing, for the community, and for a developer with vision. The province is simply being corrupt and short sighted.

The site is in a master planned neighborhood and was planned to remain heritage. Thousands of people moved to the neighborhood expecting that. Also, all the great things you’re saying are promised... aren’t promised. There’s no proposal. There’s nothing anyone in WDL can evaluate. Nobody knows...

Okay, this doesn't change anything. If the province is going to use MZO to accelerate projects that have economic and social value, they should at least do so for projects that are already proposed.
