I figured some office, commercial with condo density around a park honoring the airport. Would have been just as good in this location next to a highway instead of light industry. We do need housing more than ever today.

I thought it would be a huge mall with condos and commercial buildings on top of it etc. Or a central park area with condos etc around it etc. Not this lol!

Yeah it looks a little busy having bright window trim. Tone down the window trim to a black or dark tone colour. Should make the facade look less busy and more rich looking in my opinion.

I was wondering if these two beautiful looking skyscrapers proposed on each side of this renovated tower. Are going to be incorporated into this thread as the main development. Or will it have its own featuring the two towers just a thought.

That's fine a little shorter but it'll still have a present among the other tall buildings with its rustic orange columns beside them lol!

I like the 2nd scenario tower look much more. Which is well needed in this area instead of rectangular box towers lol!

Got the point it's not going to happen too close lol! But I can see that 5 Saint Joseph condo next door. Only refurbished 2 out of 6 of the three storey historical buildings on Yonge St. Which shows six of the them being refurbished in the 5 Saint Joseph rendering. Maybe it's set up for...

Thanks for the info maybe a midrise is possible. Having each floor plate on the building's west side where the tower stands. Decrease in size as it climbs to the 10 floor etc for some breathing room lol!

As I was saying about the photo just up above of those old historical buildings on Yonge St. Are they part of this development if so will they be refurbished? If not could another developer build another tower close to this one being built?

The park will always be there if I'm not mistaken!

I would be a better landmark if they add an observation deck with a revolving restaurant on the very top lol !

This building is going to visually pop out from a distance as seen in the photos up above! With its tower's deep black glazed windows and solid white cladding around it lol.

These towers would look great in Toronto's downtown core! Creating some diversity from the sea of blue green glass over there.

I believe this will be the first tower to reach the 1000 PAGE MILESTONE from 999 on Urbantoronto lol! And it's starting to gain momentum as it climbs close to the third section to be built etc of this supertall seen in the photos up above!
