What's does that mean? We have other proposals like the 70 plus storeys behind the old city hall to the east, and other proposals of somewhat that hieght behind the new court building to the west!

Why aren't these tower a least in 150 to 200m range when the niebouring proposals are?

It's more appealing than the all glass podium proposal. The stone, granite cladding materials makes it worthwhile to save. Just change the windows to a dark glazed or mirrored look to bring out the podium's stone granite features. Then build an all mirrored or dark glazed glass tower above to...

If they're going to create the same podium footprint as the old building. Might as well reinforce the whole exterior facade shell with steal girders and gut out the interior lol! We don't need another cheap all glass building in this area!

If this tower is going to rise this tall right up next the proposed tower to the north etc. The tower should at least look similar to the slim One King West avalon shaped looking tower. That compliments the old bank building below having some concrete precast incorporated in with the glass and...

Just caught my attention of lowering the floors. Are they building it in phases having tower built later on? Because the tower's earth tone facade part is well needed in this area. instead of the blue green black and white curtain wall norm lol!

For all the work going into preserving all these facades. On this this huge parcel of land near a future subway station. These two towers should at least climb up to 50 storeys or more to compensate for their work and Toronto's housing crisis lol!

I can see that Koops lowered the hieght of the tower on skyscraperpage's illustration page today establishing a number of 146.6m for it!

Look out Mississauga! This development's facades are going to visually be an eye popping look from a distance. As seen in the photos on the previous page! Just by just looking at the first few bottom floors of black and gray cladding and trim very rich. The top black and white curtain wall...

Yup! It's thick cladding around the dark glazed and mirrored windows are simple but effective looking standing out from a distance!

They'll also want to add some more height expansion too!

I've seen this tower on hold again on Skyscraperpage! If so what's going on now with the delays now? Just curious.

Love the precast cladding with the seal trim added that's creates a punctured window look on the facade! And the balconies don't protrude outwards making the facade astetically look better overall in my opinion.

We need more theses 1920s art deco style look buildings in the Toronto's downtown core for some diversity!

In your eyes it looks like shit! But these types of buildings tend to pop out from a distance in beautiness. With it's cream precast columns and dark glazed windows and trim contrasts.

This development with its thick precast cladding and enclosed balconies creates that 60s-70s vibe look! Nice to that come back especially in the suburbs lol!

I'm confused about the latest rendering version in the photo up above being built ! Are they really going back to this version instead? It would be nice to see this building facade go up instead of the other complicated one lol!

Your going to need more of this type of development to accommodate the masses living in these skyscraper and supertall towers lol!
