Can anyone tell me if the tower will go all the way to the west of the site and go flush against H&M....or is there a laneway there in the site plan for access to/from Bloor Street? Many thanks.

gorgeous shot! Shows its potential for both presence and beauty

If Mizrahi was nice, they'd hold a "UT Day" at The One as they pour the ground level. They could host us in an area on the south side of the site, with a box of wine, plastic wine glasses and a wheel of expired Government cheese, and when the last 100 s.f. or so is poured, lead us all over to...

With this pace, I wonder if this tower might be closed in by December 31st - ie: glass all the way to the top and fully enclosed? Over at The One thread we have a silly little contest going about Meeting The Grade. I'm wondering if what percentage of folks who follow this thread feel CIBC 1...

Hey kids - for those scoring at home, only one of our entrants selected a September date: Cogito Ergo has September 28th. Next up was Erie Hall at October 4th and ChesterCopperpot at October 11th.

    Toronto Toronto | The HUB | 258.46m | 59s | Oxford Properties | Rogers Stirk Harbour

Oxford purports themselves as a 'world-class leading developer'. Then act like it. Be professional and keep current....even twice a year. sheesh.

    Toronto Toronto | 2444 Yonge Street | 114.27m | 31s | First Capital | Hariri Pontarini

I don't know how this can be stopped, but today's rather charming two-storey frontages on Yonge from Erskine north to Lytton Blvd, which make it such a family-friendly, non big box retail, mom + pop retailing strip, is soon to disappear. So many independent retailers have worked so hard to make...

    Toronto Toronto | The HUB | 258.46m | 59s | Oxford Properties | Rogers Stirk Harbour

Good lord UT!!!!! My point is the laziness of Oxford in using an 18 month old photo in its marketing. Everyone knows leasing is not done by beauty shots. Sheesh.

Then they should have just dropped it into that 1918 photo ;) Trust me, the boys in the lab have many ways to make their projects stand out. It's just lazy not to have the presence of mind to use a current, updated photo.

    Toronto Toronto | The HUB | 258.46m | 59s | Oxford Properties | Rogers Stirk Harbour

You'd think with the hundreds of millions Oxford is spending on The Hub - they could afford a few thousand dollars for a CURRENT photo of southcore area in which to place the rendering for its marketing materials....or even hire a chopper and photog for half-a-day this past summer to get an...

Those green roofs remind me of a tennis court. How soon until Nike uses them as locations to shoot a dramatic ad with Bianca????

CLIP & SAVE: ADRM's post belongs in the UT Hall of Fame. Thank you for that excellent and well-written summation. Here's to Toronto - warts and all. We are all so blessed to live here at this exciting time of transformation!

When I was 10, I got a 'Kenner Build-All' set for Christmas. I guess Turner-Fleischer also got one.

Upon completion, I think this building will be one of Toronto's most photographed structures. The glass and its reflection of sunlight, cloud patterns and sky will be magnetic to photographers!

Only one week remains to supply your guesses on our "Meeting The Grade" contest before entry closing deadline of end of day Saturday August 31.( And as discussed earlier this week, meeting grade will be defined as when the ground floor is poured and you can walk from curb to building's ground...

I call it North York....but 'Mel-Town' works as well! LOL

Everyone probably has their own geographic definitions, but I've always considered Dundas and south 'downtown'; Yorkville-Gerard 'midtown'; and St. Clair to York Mills 'uptown'. But I'm old ;) ;) I also miss carbon paper and white-out.
