Toronto Municipal Election 2018: Mayor’s Race

No offense but the whole "John Tory is conservative but there's good somewhere deep inside" rhetoric is pure bullshit and that's how we ended up with Ford or the Tory himself in the first place. There's no such thing as a progressive conservative, that's a misnomer created to fool shallow voters...

Toronto Municipal Election 2018: Mayor’s Race

https://www.twitter.com/normsworld/status/1026525511130988544 Tory is absolutely shameless. He clearly has a backroom deal with Ford and all that fighting it in the court stuff is a lie.

Muji Annouces Canadian Flagship - Atrium on Bay

It was Muji but it wasn't a big flagship store and it was somewhere else in the mall. Uniqlo is in Eaton Centre.

And they cost a fraction of American ones. That's why I'm suspicious of manufacturer conspiracy in North America. I think in reality no blanket or coat is too big for a human scaled European washer.

Muji Annouces Canadian Flagship - Atrium on Bay

Hopefully this can bring some more life into Atrium.

Wait so no grocery stores? How about a smaller walmart or something

    Toronto Toronto | Bathurst College Centre | ?m | 4s | RioCan | Turner Fleischer

I wish this was 6 stories instead of 4, with residential on upper levels.

    2018 Provincial Election Transit Promises

Completely irrelevant since Wynne never whined about her drive taking too long.

    2018 Provincial Election Transit Promises

I don't get it. Doug Ford would still win in that new province. The proposed boundaries above sounds as awful as the rest of Ontario.

    2018 Provincial Election Transit Promises

Yeah so that Toronto can blow 6 billion on a 1-stop Scarborough Subway extension.

    60 Bloor West Re-cladding (Morguard, 14s, B+H)

I think the whole point of recladding is to make the building new and contemporary and appeal to the tenants' basic taste. They wouldn't keep the original design.

Construction workers were hot then, are hot now.

    Premier Doug Ford's Ontario

Social assistance cuts will actually cost them votes.

    60 Bloor West Re-cladding (Morguard, 14s, B+H)

Anyone know if they'll reclad 2 Bloor West too?

    Toronto Toronto | The Livmore | 138.68m | 43s | Vertica | IBI Group

Because this is the best building in the city so if I don't like it, that means I hate everything else? I wish you could be more clear.

    Toronto Toronto | The Livmore | 138.68m | 43s | Vertica | IBI Group

The biggest mystery for me on this forum is the users who seem to think this is a nice looking building. I think the design is bad and the materials overall look cheap.

2018 Municipal Election: Toronto Council Races

Exactly. Toronto could and will elect new Rob Fords. There's nothing appetizing about an even stronger mayor.

2018 Municipal Election: Toronto Council Races

Most suburban wards have zero development happening, ever. The workload of such a councilor and the workload of another whose ward is getting tens of thousands of new dwellings every year is not comparable. There's nothing unfair about it.

    Great Canadian Products

I don't think Kawartha Ice Cream can stand up to competition. As for something non-food, I think the viral cosmetics company Deciem is Canadian.
