Let's say another section of King Street becomes very slow for the streetcar, would there be another plan for a streetcar mall/transit priority?

I have a feeling that a plan would come forward in the future from City Hall for streetcars to go underground within the downtown core and then wider sidewalks + bike lanes.

...and SF is using buses. Not every solution to better transit in Toronto is LRTs or subways. Sheppard East could easily be a BRT running in its own private lane.
