Honestly, they need to redo that section ASAP. As a guy who goes there now and then to try the restaurants and go clubbing on that stretch of Jasper, it really is quite unsightly, especially when I'm showing around guests from smaller towns coming up to the big city.

I wish more right-wingers would realize that pro-urbanism is pro-business. It was decades of car-dependent sprawl with high capital and maintenance costs (that could never pay themselves off) and a resulting decline of inner-city business that we got into this financial hole in the first place...

Was perusing Google Maps when I noticed this interesting apartment development in Abbottsfield on what used to be parking lots. I suspect that this is another one of those developments that was only possible thanks to the removal of parking minimums. All-in-all, another win for more housing.
