Hope this project doesn't get watered down further! Still sounds great but would have been better with the density originally proposed.

It's a massive site!

Been working in the area and Roehampton ave from Yonge st to just east of Redpath is full of activity with all the various buildings under construction! This one in particular is moving along quickly.

Obliterating Toronto's 50-70's architectural history is a disgrace and quite frankly a crime....leave these buildings alone already! There is so much crap down there why go after all these unique structures....shameful.

They are both beauties that add texture and era specific architecture to the urban landscape, hope they start protecting some of these gems....

Yes that is the website, I don't understand how this is turning out into it's not going to get built conversation!

This is absurd....we have many other large towers many of them older, and we never hear of something like this happening! Cheep Chinese glass, it's not good for cars or homes and certainly not for tall buildings!

They do recycle old concrete and turn it into usable gravel as well as for other uses.... But it's sad to see this one go!

Like others, not that fond of the new format without the architects/builder in the heading... I do think it would be better to have something similar to what WislaHD said.....

Love the design as others have mentioned the 70's style would look timeless IF they use quality materials!

I was driving west on the 401 yesterday and the view just past Yonge st looking south is stunning with all those cranes on Eglinton and Bloor street, 1BE is a beast even from up there!
