Hope this project doesn't get watered down further! Still sounds great but would have been better with the density originally proposed.

    Toronto Toronto | 155 Redpath Condominiums | 120.39m | 34s | Freed | a—A

Been working in the area and Roehampton ave from Yonge st to just east of Redpath is full of activity with all the various buildings under construction! This one in particular is moving along quickly.

    Toronto Toronto | CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

Agreed, it really does look so promising if built as envisioned in that video!
  4. FMCS

    Toronto Toronto | Social at Church + Dundas | 164.89m | 52s | Pemberton | RAW Design

Looks busy but at the same time, very interesting to look at!

    Toronto Toronto | 401 Bay Street | 143.86m | 33s | Cadillac Fairview | WZMH

Obliterating Toronto's 50-70's architectural history is a disgrace and quite frankly a crime....leave these buildings alone already! There is so much crap down there why go after all these unique structures....shameful.

    Toronto Toronto | 1200 Bay | 326.5m | 87s | ProWinko | Herzog & de Meuron

They are both beauties that add texture and era specific architecture to the urban landscape, hope they start protecting some of these gems....

Global Village Backpackers Redevelopment (460 King W, Allied REIT, 3s, Gensler)

They should, that's why street and building cameras are needed....these idiots would be less paint happy if they knew they would be filmed!
  8. FMCS

    Toronto Toronto | The Well | 174.03m | 46s | RioCan | Hariri Pontarini

    Some activity....fantastic!!
  9. FMCS

    Toronto Toronto | Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

Yes that is the website, I don't understand how this is turning out into it's not going to get built conversation!
  10. FMCS

Toronto Toronto | St Regis Toronto Hotel and Residences | 281.93m | 58s | JFC Capital | Zeidler

This is absurd....we have many other large towers many of them older, and we never hear of something like this happening! Cheep Chinese glass, it's not good for cars or homes and certainly not for tall buildings!
  11. FMCS

    Toronto Toronto | 35 Wabash | 16.76m | 4s | Zinc Developments | RAW Design

These look beautiful in every way!!
  12. FMCS

    Toronto Toronto | The Residences of 488 University Avenue | 206.95m | 55s | Amexon | Core Architects

They do recycle old concrete and turn it into usable gravel as well as for other uses.... But it's sad to see this one go!

SkyriseCities.com and UT Forum Changes (Oct 9, 2015)

Like others, not that fond of the new format without the architects/builder in the heading... I do think it would be better to have something similar to what WislaHD said.....
  14. FMCS

    Toronto Toronto | 330 Richmond | 93.57m | 27s | Greenpark | Core Architects

Agreed but I must admit that I like the retro 50's-60's look of this design.....
  15. FMCS

    Toronto Toronto | Chelsea Green (was 33 Gerrard) | 297.25m | 90s | Great Eagle | a—A

Love the design as others have mentioned the 70's style would look timeless IF they use quality materials!
  16. FMCS

    Toronto Toronto | One Bloor East | 257.24m | 76s | Great Gulf | Hariri Pontarini

I was driving west on the 401 yesterday and the view just past Yonge st looking south is stunning with all those cranes on Eglinton and Bloor street, 1BE is a beast even from up there!
