Can I sue a business for not clearing their sidewalk?

First check with Visa/Mastercard. I assume you bought the thing on a credit card and the majority of Credit Cards do have some type of insurance.

    Toronto's own Monopoly spot

Well the votes are definately borked up now. The only world class city in the top 7 is Paris! Tokyo is almost off the board and Jerusalem is 7? Holy heckhole. This will be the worst Monopoly board ever.

    Namdaemun in South Korea GONE.

Sorry, I had to laugh at the comments. Blatently obvious trolling going there. Anyone that falls for that discussion really has low Internet IQ.

    TDSB Ponders Black-Focused Schools

As Hydrogen out it, you presume and make your own prejudices. Think about things from a different point of view. What makes that guy/girl sitting next to you want to become a teacher? Liklihood isn't because they like listening to students complaining for no reason. Lets not think about...

Suburban house split up into 18 bedrooms

Ugh, I have the same thing in my townhouse complex. The rooms aren't subdivided but instead they are cramming families into single rooms. We can't really do anything about though...

    U.S. Elections 2008

I prefer Hillary at this point but not for too long. I know if Hillary would have a short run, she could do some amazing things that none of the other candidates could do (for the economy) and right now that is needed. Too long though and she'd just mess things up (due to her personality flaws)...

    Afro-Centric Schools

It's more likely to end up being a dumping ground. If they want to target high risk students then you'd probably need some sort of written letter of (de)merit.

    Immigration Road Blocks

First off, it depends on the job description. Immigration will only put you on the "elected worker stream" points program if you work at certain jobs. Also, the employer must also meet a certain criteria (which your employer probably does not or your job does not warrant your program)...

    TDSB Ponders Black-Focused Schools

Nobody is saying seperation breeds hate. The argument was and continues to be that the school will just be a dumping grounds. I.E. it won't change a damn thing. This is evident in how people will view blacks on resumes. Even a highly educated white guy will be overlooked if he attended a...

    Toronto's own Monopoly spot

Montreal is currently 1st!!!!! Are those Montrealers only voting for Montreal and a couple others? I think the board would totally flop if Montreal became the coveted "Boardwalk" spot. I'd be ashamed if it was Toronto there too. IMO only a few cities worldwide deserve that spot; New York...

    Toronto's own Monopoly spot

I know that, just hope for this evil they will lose money on this project.

    Toronto's own Monopoly spot

That's what happens when you let the public decide based on misplaced patriotism. In full honesty what they should have done for the vote was have choices for each and every spot based on an educated and farily impartial panel. That way you would have a good representation of the world for...

    Fairview Mall

Got to Moxies instead. I went there for the first time this past Sunday and it was pretty good food. Very generous portions and the waitress Abby was very nice (the first time my mom was ever impressed with service in about 10 years). I recommend the Crispy Tuna Ahi, that was really good.

    Toronto's own Monopoly spot

We are currently on for a light blue square. It's actually quite amazing that all 3 Canadian cities are on there currently. Gotta keep it up.

Deciding between Sheppard, Bayview or Yonge

In any case, just make sure you want to live where you want to live. If you're not really concerned about the place as an investment rather than as a place to live then just go with how you feel about it. Only investors would worry about it, in general for the long term, either one is going...

    Fairview Mall

I didn't go to Fairview for a period spanning from 2004 to mid 2007. I went back in mid 2007 because I now drop by there to get to Seneca every Tuesday night for classes. It's faster driving West on Shepperd then North on Don Mills rather than West on Finch. I drop by to eat before hitting...

Shopping Carts to Use in Condos/ Aptmnts

Not really a good idea for a business as others have said although I'd wonder if it would be on the quarter return system as well. Thing is, people take store shopping carts away from stores. Each cart is a hundred dollars+. Around Agincourt mall I see Walmart/No Frills has hired some guy to...

Deciding between Sheppard, Bayview or Yonge

Sorry but Bayview village < Ikea. Ikea is more of an attraction than that worn out old folks mall. If your looking at things for a more "community vibe" rather than a downtown attraction, Bayview and Shepperd isn't bad but there really isn't much there, not really a problem if you have a...
