Good for Tridel... maybe not so good for owner+occupiers. With this many small units, I can predict a pretty high rent to own+occupy ratio. I'd steer clear until the property matures.

For Neo & Montage, I believe just about all the PDIs were done prior to first occupancy. If I recall there was a 2-3 month gap between my PDI and my occupancy.

Recently checked out Nadege for the first time... rocked. The macarons were pretty much bang on to the Paris variety. The sandwiches were pretty good too, though there seems to be much more variety earlier in the day.

Nice unit overall... though I am not a fan of the closet by the terrace entrance; why do you need one there? If you knocked out the closet and kept the same flooring (hardwood) throughout you would do a lot to improve the perceived width of what is right now looking like narrow space.

The question of privatizing these services is an interesting one. I do have an anecdotal experience to share... The company I work for has an annual event where all the employees go out to the community and volunteer in some way. This year, many chose to spend time cleaning up Toronto parks...

Many people on this site hate Cityplace for various reasons, that aren't about quality or its investment potential (both good by the way). So I would take whatever you read here with a grain of salt.

Agree with the OP, the new Sobey's at the base of Montage/Neo is very nice. The Faema espresso bar made me a decent capuccino. The cake selection was very good too (dufflets, ice cream cakes and more). Prices are about what'd you'd expect for the area, with some bargains to be had...
