Humpy Hollow Park looks like it’s just about ready to reopen. Looking pretty spiffy.

I think they turned out good, especially for suburban Alberta. A little heavy on the spandrel but the design is fairly unique and I love that it adds some interest entering the city from the west. Big W in my books.

I actually don’t mind the colour pallet. Though I do agree that all these redevelopment projects need to be tearing out these perfectly fine, inoffensive facades. Some fresh windows and balconies already add a modern touch, throw in some ground level street interaction upgrades and boom 💥

Nearly 50,000 people in 1 quarter just seems bonkers. At that rate, we will come close to - or surpass - 5 million by the end of the year. With Calgary pushing 2 million by the end of next year if this trend continues.
