Finally a Concord Adex building that looks good from every angle. And it only took not having early involvement from Concord Adex to achieve this!

No planner wants to go to LPAT or OLT. The idea that the outcome would be different if appealed is a big assumption. The planner wrote a refusal report because the existing policies don’t support the height increase. There’s a very good chance the board will agree - as skyscaper fan-boying...

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Minor annoyance - I can no longer tap my wallet. It says too many cards detected and declines the tap. Looking forward to being able to tap my phone!

    Metrolinx: Presto Fare Card

Seems like the installation is happening quickly. Every streetcar I took today suddenly had the new readers.

Both are using the same door. You’ll walk in and go through a second set of doors for the grocery store, or straight for the restaurant. Looks more substantial than a Rabba/Paramount combo as it has booths and a bar. (I’ve seen the floor plans)

The arches are for a restaurant. The grocery store will be to the left of that space.

Agreed with the above. I also loved Copper Branch, and they are expanding like crazy throughout the 905 - so definitely doing well overall. The hours at this one were terrible though.

Gears is a bike store. Shop Task was the skate store.

You’re right. The most recent update I see is that there will be an update in 2023.

    It’s literally under construction already… https://www.waterfrontoronto.ca/news/another-step-towards-continuous-waterfront-walk

Noticed that as well. They were aiming for a restaurant, and it was originally going to be a Mexican restaurant/tequila bar, but it didn’t materialize.

I absolutely love Chick-Fil-A sauce, and that’s what makes the sandwich for me. But yea, it’s pretty basic and there are far better ones out there. I also hate their waffle fries. That said, they do make decent milk shakes.

Correct. Everything was unchanged. Comments at the meeting revolved around reducing the amount of parking, dealing with servicing of the building, and a push for retail.

There’s nothing to really design beyond adding new windows and a floor plan. The building is remaining as is.

There’s proper drainage. You can see all the RWL’s tucked behind each mount.

They saw Apple has trees in their stores now and want to upgrade the Eaton Centre with trees?
