Exactly, I think the projection is aggressive at $1000 a foot however at $1000 a foot its approx 8% return a year.. He has most likely based his estimates on the appreiation at MLS in 4 years. I think we do have some supply issues which will keep prices in check for a year or possibly 2...

That's a good price.. Market rent for this should be around $1600. As for Hamilton, prices have not moved in 15 years. Downtown 50% in 5 years depending on area. Hamilton prices will be the same for another 10 years

I agree with you. There are many on this board that just like to 'trash' the condo market when it has been and will be the best performing market in North America. Prices are very much in check and with the supply coming to market its good because it balances the market and prices and growth...
