2014 Municipal Election: Toronto Mayoral Race

Since more than 50% of our population hold to some kind of spiritual belief system, it is hardly a stretch to say that a very large portion of our population would want creation taught in school. By the way, why shouldn't I be allowed to have a choice about where to send my children to school...

2014 Municipal Election: Toronto Mayoral Race

You're probably right about the mods clamping down on this thread and I hate derailed topics as much as the next guy, but I too need to respond. As a professional engineer with a Masters degree, I know a thing or two about science. Personally, I think all the laws of physics and order in the...

2014 Municipal Election: Toronto Mayoral Race

The most arrogant thing I have read today. Why do you think creationism is anti-science? Most of the great scientists were creationists.

The most beautiful project currently being built in my opinion. I am not usually a big AA fan, but they hit it out of the park on this one.

This would be the weathered clay layer above red Queenston shale at lower depths. Queenston shale underlies most of western Mississauga, Oakville, and Burlington.

    2014 Ontario Provincial Election

The one good thing about tonight for me is the Liberal transit strategy. I hope they come through with it. Just don't know how they will pay for it.

    2014 Ontario Provincial Election

Believe me, as conservative, I am no Hudak fan either. I don't necessarily hate the guy, he just doesn't seem like much of a leader and I believe he is the reason for this dismal loss. Having said that, I base my vote on a platform, not a personality. The best thing that came out of this...

Politics: Tim Hudak's Plan for Ontario if he becomes Premier

Agreed, the people have spoken and I do love democracy as much as might disagree with the result.

    2014 Ontario Provincial Election

Hardly a newbie, been a member for years. Just too busy building a business, employing people and paying huge taxes to support a bloated government and huge deficit, to post very often. I will go back to work now so that I can pay even more taxes and support even more waste in government.

Politics: Tim Hudak's Plan for Ontario if he becomes Premier

Firstly, it's not "my party". Secondly, we did give Mike Harris two majorities so this province can be very right wing when it wants to be. With your attitude about moving jobs, we will turn this province into another Greece or Portugal.

By the way, the Liberals are going to have to slash jobs as well to meet their deficit targets. They just aren't honest about it.
