Some good progress. I like the wider sidewalk on Front and Church. But why not all the way down east? Sad!

If those squares reserved for trees I’m assuming it’s quiet a zickzack parcours walking down this sidewalk on Wellington St!

Today, the 25th August I was walking around Front and Wellington to document progress. Workers are on site for concrete pouring of curbs. I didn’t see more work on pavers. There ares still some holes very deep at every corner. I was hoping pipe ans wiring work already done. It seems a bit...

@Northern Light - thank you. I was translating from German word “Pflastersteine” and cobblestone came up. The picture above shows “Kopfsteinpflaster” which is different I know. “Concrete pavers” is a new word for me. :)

@DSC as you mentioned the streetcar tracks are being rebuilt along Church to Adelaide and Wellington. So overhead wires will be installed as well then? What is the purpose of the route I am wondering. What streetcar line will be running there or is it only for deviations?

@DSC thank you for posting. I got the email yesterday. I was wondering if out of the information provided we can conclude regarding delays and if the timeline is on track or not. What do you think?

“Overnight” our neighborhood found a new social gathering spot. The urban park on Market St. Everyone else calls it pedestrian area. People already loving it which isn’t a surprise. Why was this valuable space wasted as parking? Now: Before:

    St Lawrence Market

Market St. has potential and will show more of its potential. I also walked by. @DSC I think we can have some confidence what to expect. Someone was smart enough to protect also the crosswalk. Two line of barriers have been put in place. Otherwise, some drivers would have parked directly on the...

    Cycling infrastructure (Separated bike lanes)

I saw installation of this raised bus stop biking by today. Basically, the same modular bus waiting platform that can been seen on King St. However, so far I’m impressed by the cycle track installation on the Esplanade. Mill St. cycles tracks also received upgrades. Finally, we have a cycling...
