i hope so. i was looking at #14,336. in the 3rd photo it looks like the gap between panels is fairly large and further accentuated by what looks to be black rubber between the gaps. i'll wait until they're unrwrapped and installed properly.

i'm a bit surprised they bothered to keep the seating up in that upper 500 level section behind the lights and to the right of them on the first base outfield area. There are those 2 sections that are go all the way up. i don't know what they'd replace them with but it's very rare when those...

i'd say it's a slight step above. but yea, there are the usual suspects in there. I think that's the reality these days of these retail spaces within new buildings. you can sort of guess who is going to afford it and put a location in there.

while i was watching the games this weekend, i realized that they completely renovated Dunedin just a couple years ago and part of it was to match the exact field dimensions of the Skydome.....ooops.

i sat in the action once and it was incredible being right on turf level. it was far greater than row 1 seats i sat at elsewhere. it was super impressive hearing the pitch hit the catchers mitt, or the crack of the bat, or saying a couple of words back and forth with the player on the on-deck...

i went to the new warriors arena and it was awful. it felt like going to the new yankee stadium. just stale and corporate and overdone.

Scotiabank arena isn't going anywhere. that location is unbeatable. that one is staying forever like MSG

multipurpose stadiums are awful. their only benefit is they can hold a multitude of events and provide an acceptable experience. i'd rather a single purpose stadium that provides an exceptional experience. that being said, i wouldn't be surprised if they build out bmo the way they have been...

i don't think that's true. the 500 level seats and the 100 level seats are the same with the exception a few seats behind the dish with cushions in the 100 and 200 level....unless you're talking about putting a Rogers Centre Sticker over the SkyDome sticker as an update?

the big problem for me here is it's literally at Yonge & Bloor where 2 major retail streets intersect and 2 major subway lines intersect. This is the place where you approve height increases. it's here, this very spot.
