I always thought they should make the island airport the Central Park of Toronto, the first easy-accessible "large park" from the downtown. And, a bridge connects the park to the city can be the first suspension bridge for Toronto.

never, ever thought the two buildings (HNR and Hermant) were historic. This city ,who destroyed the real historic buildings before, now really tries to keep some ga*b*ges ...(never know how to make the right decision?) I would Just demolish the two and ask the great Toronto-born architect...

Great pics! I would say Tokyo is the most vibrant, dynamic, alive, yet calm, and sofisticated city in the world. I made this conclusion after I finally visited New York City last year. It's actually far more than what the photos show in this thread, just so great to comprehend as one modern city.

Great pics... And nice comments everyone... I've had many friends from overseas and from the states, and "no one" ever said Toronto is a more beautiful place than Montreal. (the other way was a lot) This is sad as a person living in Toronto, but I'm sure Toronto will gain "money" as it grows...

By having this current tallest buliding refinished nicely, the skyline already looks a lot better and stylish(?) than before !:)
