Officially this is the statement in the review: Looks like construction will be done well ahead of time. The testing etc might take some time but hopefully not more than a year.

That would be one solution. Although I'd much rather prefer the highway taken back by the province and all tolls removed. Seems to be more in line with the rest of of city :)

If it wasn't a toll road then there probably would be no problem.

Having just purchased a house in the area I am very pleased to see development occurring here. The new finch west subway station and the finch west lrt should provide a catalyst for development. I was sad to learn that el-ad sold the fountainhead properties which had been approved for 8 6-12...

Sorry to revive this old thread but wondering what happened to this promising project. Is it put it ice? Wondering why the sold it in the first place as well. Would be nice if anyone has anything to add to th discussion.
