Don't know what the rationale was behind that 'renovation', as the house is much worse looking then it was before. Should've left it alone or moved it to the front of the lot and develop behind it.
Boa and Hare are the Van Loc guys, William and Wilson, can't wait for it to open. Those guys are doing so much for Chinatown, from being young business owners to amazing advocates for the area. We need 100 more of them!
I hope they don't go back to the Eskimos, Elks is a better name overall really. I just got an Elks jersey last year too lol
Very interested to see which ownership group is taking over...
That plaza will tie in well to the existing park space beside the RAM and will hopefully make it much easier to get from 103A Avenue to 105 Avenue and Chinatown and vice versa because currently there are no accesses at all between 97 and 101 Streets.
Hard to say who was playing but perhaps it was one of the lesser-known acts. Some photos from when Armin was playing had the crowd looking much, much larger, which makes sense since he's a huge name in the EDM scene.
Those last two units have no exterior entrances and are tucked way behind the Banquet in that long corridor, so I wonder if that'll delay them leasing up.
