Heres some photos i took today, this one was ignored for a bit lol lots of progress after a year.

These were probably quite nice when they were first built, too bad they have fallen into disrepair over the years.

IMO there's a fairly simple solution, build houses like condos, make it out of concrete including the roof. They have ICF construction already which i think would work well. https://disastersafehomes.com/index.php This site claims they've been building houses like this in Guam for years, and...

I drove by here the other day, they have already demo'ed the plaza, shored and dug down completely and a tower crane is installed, no pics unfortunately since I was driving.

I drove by here the other day there are shoring rigs on site now working.

According to the construction management plan on the city's application site, phase 2 will begin construction Nov 1, 2018 - Dec 1, 2020

Found this development on Bondfield's site it says completion "February 2019" considering the only work that has progressed since the last photo is that they completed the temporary fence by enclosing the sales center, I think that date is a tad optimistic...

An interesting article on the front page about developing in flood prone areas, since everything south of Front St. is lake infill, hopefully they take these issues into consideration when building this and other buildings in the area, also assuming the Don River mouth redirection does what it's...

There are a bunch of lawn signs around the area along finch calling for "subways not LRT" "commutor chaos" and "call Mayor Tory" etc. I didn't snap any pics. There also a bigger sign telling people to go to this meeting at islington and steeles. It seems that this project may be in jeopardy...

Was also looking at the 400 south exit, it seems to get backed up a decent amount, the new configuration does help a bit by adding 2 left turn lanes to arrow rd, but I wonder if it would make sense to have a stub exit go to Signet through the hydro fields kinda like the york U busway perhaps...
