wow that's a bit intense. This is hardly development to worry about. They really should raise money for something that would actually benefit or improve their community. . .

Yeah... not a fan of this one. Like I said earlier, it's a shame that the limestone precast didn't extend to what I'll call the "other tower". I'm afraid that Yonge st might be heading in the way of Bay street in terms of street level. Also, ugh balconies... why.

    Toronto Toronto | Yonge and Scollard | 167.5m | 49s | Cityzen | KPMB

It looks like there are plans for a "luxury" high-rise at this site (which seems quite small). From Graybook Capital's website (http://www.greybrook.com/real-estate-investments/): 1 Scollard Provided equity capital and ongoing asset management to purchase an interest in a property located...

It's interesting that the Retail here isn't opened yet! I hope they don't screw it up.

Ugh totally disappointed that this is now aA. While I was walking on Yonge the other day I realized that this is actually a pretty big site in terms of its presence on Yonge St... I guess the limestone portion will not extend the length of the block and the boring box part will.

I thought this development had parking. Will they continue to excavate now that they crane is installed?

There's an article on 680news about the move! A 130-year-old grand, red-brick mansion on Sherbourne Street, just south of Bloor, is getting a new lease on life. The Gooderham mansion has been hoisted onto massive yellow steel beams ahead of its big move in the next two to three weeks. Laurie...

Did they even try to address shadowing with this design? It's a box that could be proposed anywhere.

Regent Park Block 28 Towns (TCHC, 3s, Van Elslander & Associates)

Well, it's my opinion.. and actually I think it's because it's a masterplanned community... much like the downtowns of those suburbs are masterplanned communities... it doesn't feel like I'm in a city or very urban. Also, I know that the Honest Ed's site is one block, which makes the development...

Regent Park Block 28 Towns (TCHC, 3s, Van Elslander & Associates)

Yeah.. I'm going to have to side with those who aren't feeling these town houses. It's a shame that Regent Park didn't receive visionary planning like the Honest Ed site... I've said this before, but something about this development reminds me of Mississauga or Markham. Yes, that's a bad thing.
