    Baby, we got a bubble!?

The downward trend has to start sometime... and yes Interested, I understand that because we're dealing with averages, and that it means that perhaps a few million dollar condos aren't being consumed by end users as fast as the developers can build them. Which kinda puts a dent into overall...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Rec'd this summary from Remax about an hour ago... (looks like the potential for the beginning of the end of higher prices for condos downtown.) Is The Market Hitting The Top? Toronto Real Estate Market Report Analysis For March 2012 March MLS sales totalled 9,690 houses and condominiums in...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Apple is really at all time just a few steps away from a patent lawsuit that could aways force them to stopping selling there two main income sources. Just imagine an injunction forcing Apple to withdraw the i-Phone or i-Pad from all their stores... and where that event would take their...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

You forget that most people are stupid... and stupid people do alot of creative things to destroy value. So don't ever underestimate the power of stupid sheeple that get herded into big mortgages... unaffordable housing will slow the economic system... as less... disposable income will get...

talking about threats... http://www.theglobeandmail.com/globe-investor/personal-finance/rob-carrick/the-hidden-threat-of-home-ownership/article2396551/ It appears that owning a house is a threat to retirement... which is creating a poorer generation... one big mortgage at a time. :)

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

What he is saying is that... as a baby boomer... you likely have a parent that still owns a house. He/she (silent old generation, still in there homes) will move to a nursing home... (aka available house)... new inventory. But, that house money is going to be need to pay for that expensive...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Yes, $416K over asking, I read it, and thought... wow... it's interesting that some children that don't earn money themselves (like the guy in the Parable of the Prodigal Son) are likely to be completely foolish with it. Did your economic professor teach you that our government sometimes...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

For prices to stagnate... we would need to witness the consuming condoers restrain from gorging on condos... But we know that the consuming condoers will continue to feed their psychopathic greedy personalities to the detriment of regular Canadians. We just watched INDX as a prime example of...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Currently resale one bedrooms downtown are selling between $300K-$450K so around $500-600 psf... and higher for some buildings. Pre-construction is way higher... and liking not to last... and is creating a bigger pool of condos then is needed for 2015... Toronto isn't growing that fast... yeah...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

My bet is lower price by the end of 2015 and the average one bedroom in downtown Toronto around $200K-250... so basically $400-450 psf... I'm not sure of the timeline... I think that was after 2001 but prior to 2006 pricing.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Oh... you can be beautiful and smart... you just have to be prepared like the virgins that brought enough oil with them to last through the night as they waited for the bridegroom. As well, you have to have a bit of a contrarian point of view... so that you don't follow the sheeple and false...

Why ignore by quoting Buddha, when Orwell's 1984 is so much better... You want a picture of the future imagine a boot smashing a human face forever. Our "vested" collective Canadian interests has Mark Carney in the driver seat wearing the boots, as he decides to knock down or rather stamp out...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Yeap... right now is the perfect time to go consume a pre-construction condo. Go donate to your local TO Real Estate Agent a 4% commission on a 800psf box... the more they sell the bigger the rainbow. But also the bigger the flood, from the crash. Condos in Toronto are the "new" tulips of...

    Toronto Toronto | Ten York Street Condos | 224.02m | 65s | Tridel | Wallman Architects

Ten York will fit in perfectly in the South Core as it busyness will draw your eyes away from ugliness of cement, and glass-fails. This isn't your parent's box, in the suburds it is a six sided semi-tall beast for Toronto. IMO I kinda like the top on the first draft... and the cleaner lines...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

http://www.ritholtz.com/blog/2012/04/foreclosures-a-decade-long-overhang-part-4-of-5/ Barry Ritholtz, noted his 5-part piece on American Foreclosures that it's... "Funny how rising prices can drive supply higher." Which is exactly what is happening in Toronto. Housing sector, moves forward...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

I promise not to rub salt in your face... but five or six years down the line would really suck if the interest rates are much much higher... and most if not all of your equity is gone. :)

    Toronto Toronto | Sun Life Financial Tower & Harbour Plaza Residences | 236.51m | 67s | Menkes | Sweeny &Co

This and Ten York... will be great additions to the SouthCore. Investors will be lined up for days to snatch up these units so that they can make millions overnight... and eventually lots of people will enjoy living in this awesome location... This is the new center of Toronto. :)

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

After selling a house in Windsor, Ontario at a loss... I know the feeling of a market that goes south. Yes, I know bitterness. I know what writing a cheque to the bank feels like when you sell a house. I understand what an underwater mortgage feels like. I will never ever do that again in my...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

So it's about me, until... it's about someone else not making a living off of real estate. That's fine. For you to feel better and for investors purchasing pre-sale condos today who are paying $750/psf or more... we all need to push the RE market along and markets rents to loftier values, with...

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Yeah, I'm on your side. :) I'm looking and seeing in my crystal ball that Ten York will be released... and the public will be lined up for days beforehand and the whole building is going to sell out within hours... at prices in the $2000 psf range. This will be the most (UN)affordable...
