Question... what are occupancy fees like? And do you still pay other things separately immediately as well (strata & that pump rental), or do they bundle it until the building is registered? Also, how does house insurance work in this case... do you need it before you close, does Tarion...

Ah, that's too bad! :( Hopefully things get sorted quickly... I have a friend who was a contractor & actually worked on fixing deficiencies in condos. He's seen it all! I'm bringing him to my PDI.

Is there humidity control in the units? And the owners who have their keys already, is there any ambient noise from anything that is annoying? I once hung out at a tridel unit around Bloor, and this one panel on the wall hummed non-stop. It was also extremely dry in the unit and I it wasn't...

I met the penthouse owner once when the building was still a hole in the ground. Him and his daughter were taking pictures of the place... Very nice fellow.

Closing date for me is November 16th. PDI is November 15th. Just for some frame of reference. :)

They're sending out letters with official move in dates this week right? I'm really curious what the date will be so I can plan the rest of the year (vacations or lack thereof and all). Oh and thanks Boomix... I just spent the last 10 minutes reading space balls quotes on imdb! Haha.

Yeah I received the same letter when I got home. Maybe one occupant of the 2nd floor will move in August 31st? :P I also noticed those lockers are $4500 now... yowza! Hey here's a different topic... what neighborhood would 330 king east be considered? Cork town? Distillery? Moss Park?

Move in for mid September for everyone? Will they do it that quickly? They still have to pour the middle part, and then slap on all the windows... I'm thinking by mid to end of June the outside and foundation will all be finished. Then all that interior stuff will be done.. July, August...

FYI, Just as I had suspected... south facing units won't have an evening sun come April (I don't remember about the past winter months). North facing units will have the sun on their balconies, and possibly a bit inside. The north east units may not get much sunset (or any), and of course...

They built that 5th floor up pretty quickly. Currently on 6th floor, though there's still that middle part that hasn't been built at all (in the foundation). So what's everyone's bet on when the foundation will be up (to penthouse level) by? I'm thinking June.

My hope: - pub (or nice resto) - bakery - independent coffee shop I just hope there's no crappy franchise... There are loads of furniture places around this area, and as nice as they are you really shop at them once and that's it. Drop a bunch of money and never set foot in that...
